The Arts in Antiques Show held in Denton,TX is held at the Downtown Square. The festival includes exhibits, shopping, and food. While you are on the Denton Square be sure you check out the other quaint shops like Recycled Books and Beth Marie's Ice Cream.
In the fall, one of my favorite things to do is pick out a pumpkin to carve! Denton County is home to several "Pumpkin Patches." Many of these Denton businesses offer hay-rides, fall festivities and of course, picking out the perfect pumpkin. It's only September - but I am ready to pick mine out already! Check out the Aubrey Pumpkin Patch and the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch.
On October 15th, 2011, the College of Music at UNT is offering a Musical Petting Zoo where students can go and explore with instruments. Registration is required, but it is free to students grades 2nd-5th. Check out UNT's Musical Petting Zoo for more information about this neat opportunity for students in Denton, Texas!
