Denton, TX is a town located north of Dallas and Fort Worth at the intersection of Interstate I35W and I35E. It is a university town - home to the fourth largest university in Texas - University of North Texas (UNT) and Texas Women University (TWU). On the north east side of town a state highway 380 will take you directly to McKinney a town North of Dallas. 380 now connects with Dallas North Tollway - making it even easier to get to Plano, and further south to Dallas. The housing market is diverse and consists of suburbia planned communities and downtown historical homes. You can stroll at the square and sip a cup of coffee with your laptop or a newspaper at local Jupiter house or have an old fashioned ice cream at Beth-Marie's.
