All of Denton and her surrounding cities are invited out to this FREE festival. Fun for all members of the family can be found across the large park area where the Arts and Jazz Festival takes place. Many different types of food, from Cajun to Greek, can be found across the grounds. Roasted corn, turkey legs and fresh squeezed lemonade are among festival attendees each year!

The Arts and Jazz Festival highlights the wonderful musical talents of many Denton residents. Brave Combo, The UNT 1 O'clock Lab Bad, school music groups from around the area, and Brian Houser among many others are schedule to perform during the Arts and Jazz Festival. Musical and dance groups can be viewed on one of seven stages at the festival.

Booths around the festival are filled with arts and crafts. Some booths give away fun prizes to festival goers. A special Children's Art Area where kids can enjoy creating art works such as painting or woodworking. This year at the Arts and Jazz Festival children can enjoy a hands-on percussion exhibit!
