A-Train comes to Denton

If you have been driving around Denton county in the past week you may have seen the A-Train sweep by you. The A-Train is part of the Denton County Transit Authority and has been up and running since June 20th. 
There are some really wonderful features about the Denton A-Train. Commuters and those looking to just enjoy a day out can benefit from the rail system. Denton A-Train connects with the Dallas Area Rapit Transit - DART system, which can take you to places like the Dallas Zoo, the Dallas World Aquarium or Southern Methodist University (SMU). There are lots of things to do in Dallas - and Denton patrons can get there all by train.
 
Aside from the dazzling Dallas attractions you can enjoy, the Denton A-Train makes stops at Downtown Lewisville and Downtown Carrollton. Old Town Lewisville has many great shopping and dining options and a unique atomosphere that patrons are sure to enjoy. The next stop on the A-Train after Old Town Lewisville is Old Downtown Carrollton where you can find historic sites, restaurants, special events and more.
 
The Denton A-Train is perfect for commuters to Dallas. One commuter I spoke with said, "I have loved riding the train to work this past week. I don't have to worry about traffic or diving so I get to relax on the ride home" (Patti from Denton). Another rider said he rode the A-Train for financial reasons - "It would take me more money in gas to get back and forth from Denton to Dallas every day than it does for me to buy a month pass to ride the A-Train" (Victor from Denton). You heard it - Denton folks are liking the new A-Train already!

The A-Train comes to Denton
